Premium Eyewear Dealer:
Backstage has been an Oakley Authorized dealer since it
began selling sunglasses in the mid 1980's. In the beginning
Oakley introduced two styles
with choices of about five or six combinations of frame and
lens. Now it almost boggles the mind to view the array of
literally thousands of combinations of styles
that are offered.
Many people have told us that we have one of the largest
selections of Oakley Eyewear available anywhere.
Denim:
As a destination store for Jeans, we have evolved in this
category over the years, always with a strategy of multiples
prices points. Also we believe in offering fewer
strong Labels allowing the customer more choices in a
particular brand. This strategy allows us to be more
important to that vendor.
Fashion
Tops and Bottoms:
Shirts, tops and casual bottoms are probably the most trendy
categories in
the apparel business. One again here we continue to offer
niche selections
at multiple price levels.
Dress
Code 101:
In 2001 our public school districts implemented a "Uniform
Dress Code" policy for its students. Needless to say it had
enormous impact on our denim business and tops business.
However, we adapted by designing
and manufacturing our own product that would pass the dress
codes but at the same time provide the fit, fabric, and
service that the students and parents prefer.
Over
the years, our khaki pants, navy pants, and polo shirts are
now being worn in the work place. As a result, we refer to
this specialty niche as
Dress Code 101 since it has evolved to satisfy more than the
school uniform customer.
Tuxedos
Fitted with Care:
All of our customers are considered to be Backstage
Celebrities. Like all
celebrities there events in our customers' live such as
Proms, Weddings, and Mardi Gras Balls that require "Red Carpet" preparation.
It is with pleasure and pride that we offer tuxedo rental
with personal service and attention to detail and fit.
